People & Culture Development Partner
Ready to turn insight into impact? Own high-stakes People projects, shape culture and leadership – and build what’s missing in a team that’s got your back.
Do you want to be the driving force behind turning our People & Culture strategy into real impact? This role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution, and lets you shape key initiatives like leadership development, performance culture, and the future of our people priorities.
💥 Why this role is for you
Imagine being at the heart of a fast-growing company – where your voice, vision and actions directly shape the people experience. This isn’t about maintaining HR processes – it’s about building something better. From defining what great leadership looks like, to designing onboarding journeys that make people go “wow”, to making sure our People strategy truly supports the business – this is your space to lead.
We're on the hunt for a Strategic People & Organization Developer (aka Culture Architect, Success Enabler, Talent Whisperer, Strategy Buddy) who’s equal parts strategist, sparring partner, culture builder, and HR nerd (the good kind).
If you love taking ownership, driving ideas forward, and seeing your impact unfold across the business, this is your playground.
🛠️ What you’ll do
This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, depth, and long-term impact. You'll:
- Lead and drive long-term People & Culture projects – from performance reviews to cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Own and evolve the annual People & Culture cycle – and lead key processes from planning to execution.
- Design and facilitate leadership training and development that actually moves the needle.
- Identify gaps between our People strategy and what we’re currently doing – and turn insights into action.
- Shape a holistic understanding of how P&C supports business growth at Hobbii.
Translate operational needs into strategic initiatives (and vice versa) – like onboarding, engagement, and retention. - Use insight and data to actively reduce sick leave and drive initiatives that support wellbeing.
- Champion our efforts to bring people back into the office with purpose and energy.
- Be a key driver in building a stronger performance culture – with clear expectations, meaningful feedback, and ongoing development.
- Develop a scalable talent strategy (with Teamtailor) – the right people, at the right time.
- Use HiBob and HR data to drive smart decision-making, and help build a culture that uses people insights proactively.
- Work closely with our People Partner and People Operations team to turn ideas into reality.
🙌 Who you’ll be working with
You’ll join a tight-knit, harmonious P&C team of five – curious, people-centric, and always up for a good conversation (true crime, fiction, or which celebrity you'd least want to sit next to at dinner).
You’ll partner closely with Maja, our brilliant People Partner – your go-to sparring buddy – and report to Karen, our Chief People & Culture Officer (a proud HR nerd, in the best possible way 🧠). You’ll also collaborate with our People Operations team – the ones who keep our people engine humming.
🎯 You might be the one if…
You’ve been around the People & Culture / HR block – and you bring solid experience (around 5+ years) working with people and organisational development. You’re comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on delivery. Whether you’ve built leadership programmes, led cultural change, or launched key HR processes, you know how to drive initiatives that stick and support business goals.
🦸We’d love to see someone who:
- Has led impactful People & Culture projects that stuck - and made a difference.
- Knows how to turn insight into strategy, and strategy into hands-on execution.
- Facilitates leadership workshops that inspire real change (not just tick a box).
- Coaches with clarity, empathy and the courage to challenge.
- Understands how people data drives better decision-making.
- Brings fresh ideas, grit, and a touch of humour to the table.
- Is a culture-builder at heart – someone who sees the big picture, but never forgets the people in it.
- Communicates fluently in English (our company language).
- Is able to work from our Copenhagen HQ (Nordvest) – the role requires an EU work permit.
- Understands the importance of getting s*** done (sorry!).
✨ Why join Hobbii?
We’re a fast-growing scale-up on a mission to make creativity more colourful (and slightly yarn-obsessed 🧶). But we’re equally ambitious about building a workplace where people thrive. That means space to be heard. Real trust. Clarity on where we’re headed. And a few bad jokes along the way.
You’ll get freedom to shape and challenge – and the support of a team who genuinely has your back. We're building a better kind of People & Culture function. And we want you to help lead the way.
🔔 Not quite convinced? Here’s the nudge.
Don’t overthink it – just send us your CV and answer a few short questions. That’s it. No long applications. If this sounds exciting, but you're not sure you're "ready" – we'd still love to hear from you.
At Hobbii we care – not just about work, but about people. We’re building something special, and we believe a healthy organization starts with trust, clarity, and a bit of fun along the way. You’ll get the freedom to shape, challenge, rethink – and a team that’s got your back.
